Olivier Beti joined IBO in 2014, after more than twenty years of experience builded in Asset Management and Private Banking. Starting his carrer with the Geneva’s private banker Hentsh&Cie;, Olivier spent a few year at Union Bancaire Privée. He decided then to join the Dutch bank MeesPierson where he met his future partners with whom he founded the asset management company CapitalatWork Switzerland. Beyond is role of Chief Asset Manager, the experience he acquired during the 15 spent creating and developing this company provided him with a large bunch of knowledge of the independent asset management business and the interconnection they have with banks.
The benefit of a solid experience in the areas of finance, Pascal has high expertise in the practice of wealth management and analysis of financial markets. Before joining IBO as business development, he was head of the family office of Gonset-Holding. Previously he worked as an independent manager at GLG Finance in Lausanne after having been in charge at Lombard Odier of the development and the management of the DH Leader US funds. He began his career at Credit Suisse as portfolio manager for centralized management. President of the Financial Analysts Group Vaud (SFAA) and member of the Lions Club of Lausanne, Pascal contribute for several years in the animation of this growing financial center. Pascal is certified Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager (CFPI) and is a graduate from HEC Lausanne.
Philippe Cornebise is an independent consultant in Strategy, Organisation, and Finance. He has gained particular expertise in the financial segment over more than 20 years, with a particular focus on CRM and regulation. Among his various mandates, he is a Board Member of IBO and a Committee Member of the Self-Regulated Organisation (SRO) for financial intermediaries, OAR-G, under supervision of the FINMA. Prior to founding Cornebise & Co, Philippe held various positions at Schlumberger, Nomura, Eli Lilly, and Reuters. He holds a Msc in Mathematics, Operations Research, from EPFL, and an MBA from IMD International.
Chief Financial Officer
On October 2015, Christopher Hochstaedter accepted a wide-scope mandate concerning operational and strategic planning for IBO. Prior to this mandate, Christopher worked as a Partner to the company in 2012 and 2013. Since he founded Kineta Trusted Advisors in 2014, Christopher has been leading several projects such as advising single family offices and offering high level solutions for HNWIs and financial institutions. From 2001 till 2012, Christopher held several positions in portfolio and fund management for companies such as the Bellevue Group (Boston), DWS (Frankfurt), Julius Baer (Geneva), and UBP (Geneva). Christopher Hochstaedter is a graduate from Boston University and University of Notre Dame.
Before founding IBO in 2005, Nicholas Hochstadter worked as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse. Following this, he joined Ferrier Lullin & Cie as head of discretionary portfolio management. At Credit Suisse, he led the PMnet project to design and implement a fully automated system for the portfolio management process. Nicholas Hochstadter is a graduate of the Ecole de Management et de Communication in Geneva.
Business Development & Digital Marketing
Before becoming a partner at IBO Marc Lussy worked as a trader and in the wealth management for more than a decade. Subsequently he was put in charge of large-scale change-management and IT projects at different banks. Following this he became an independent adviser on banking and digitization. Marc is a fintech afficionado from day one, sharing his insights as a blogger. He is a guest lecturer for banking, leadership and digitization at various universities and contributor to leading Swiss finance magazines. Marc Lussy is a trained financial planner and has a degree in leadership and management.
Chief Technology Officer
Florian Marguier joined IBO in 2015 as responsible of the IT department to pilot the various projects of the company. Florian worked for the past 10 years as developer and production manager on various projects related to websites development and Internet applications within companies like Iomedia limited company and Virtua SA. Responsible for the analysis, the maintenance and for the development, Florian worked for prestigious customers as Alinghi, Breitling, CIO, America’s Cup, Nespresso, Edipresse or Swatch Group. He holds a Master's degree in IT Engineering, Distributed Systems and Multimedia.
Marketing & Communication
Jérôme Sicard worked as a journalist and magazine editor for Hachette Group, L’Equipe and Canal+ in Paris for many years. He has accumulated considerable experience in the field of financial communications. Jérôme Sicard holds an MBA from London Business School.
Klaus D. Stark, TEP
Managing Director IBO-Liechtenstein
Klaus Stark is a board member of IBO-Switzerland and also IBO-Liechtentstein where he also is the managing director and responsible for business development. He has long lasting experience in the financial sector in Liechtenstein and holds degrees in business administration and international Trust (TEP). He is also member of STEP International and board member and CEO of a Liechtenstein fiduciary company.
